We offer the execution calendar as a way to keep track of all of the past, and upcoming executions in the United States. Just below each inmate's name you will find the executing state, and when applicable, the category of the IJP's involvement (Juvenile, Foreign National, Mental Retardation, Mental Illness, and/or Federal). When an inmate is executed, we will state the manner of execution, as well as the number of executed since the reinstatement of the death penalty in the United States. When, an inmate receives a stay we will keep his name on the calendar, and add an explanation, when available, as to why the stay was granted and by whom.
